No building operations hereby permitted shall commence until details of the materials to be used in the construction of the external surfaces of the The Priory hereby permitted have been submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority. The details to be submitted shall include:-
- type, colour, texture, size and design of roofing materials including side-by-side comparison photos of the new materials next to the historic material being matched.
- details of mortar mix for ridge and verge pointing
Reason: To protect, conserve and enhance the significance of heritage assets and to ensure that the new materials are in keeping with the surroundings and/or represent quality design in accordance with policies SWDP 6, SWDP21 and SWDP24 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan.
The works hereby permitted shall be carried out in strict accordance with the recommendations made in the Bat Survey Report by BSG Ecology, dated August 2023, in particular the Precautionary Working Method Statement in Appendix 2, the installation of a tree mounted bat box and reduction of lighting impacts from security lighting as per paragraph 5.10 and the need for update survey information, should works be delayed beyond Spring 2024.
Reason: To ensure compliance with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (as amended) and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017.
