Positive and Proactive Statement.
In dealing with this application, the Council has worked with the applicant in the following ways:
- seeking further information following receipt of the application; and
- considering the imposition of conditions.
In such ways the Council has demonstrated a positive and proactive manner in seeking solutions to problems arising in relation to the planning application.
The applicant should ensure the cable leading to the recharger does not damage the building’s historic structure. If historic floorboards need to be lifted, they should be lifted in their entirety, not cut. Where it is necessary to drill through the outer walls this should as far as possible be through the mortar course, not the bricks. The purpose of this is to reduce the risk of lasting damage to the historic building.
The applicants attention is drawn to the Council's view that the works hereby approved do not require separate listed building consent.
